So, I resigned my position as pledge educator. It's bittersweet, to say the least. I said everything I needed to say to everyone I needed to say it to, I think, and I feel very confident, yet still sad, about my decision.
Sheesh, lots of people left stuff at banquet. :)
Kourtney's phone was held hostage in the hallway!
Someone made a comment on this video saying it's the corniest thing they've ever seen. It bet it might seem corny to someone who's never felt the love in a room like I feel when I am with my brothers. The toast circle always gives me the tinglies, because it's a great big circle of connection to people who share the same ideals and drives in life that I do. Also, I always stand by Meagan and Emily...Meagan so I can hear her lovely singing and Emily so I can get my booty smacked. :)
I guess it might seem corny if you've never been a part of the magic of APO. That's ok. I don't care what people think. The feeling I get when I know that my brothers and I are making a difference in the world is way more important to me than what people think.
I will miss being the PE, but I am so proud of my Fall 2008 babies! Love you all! <3
