I love EMILY K

My roommate is one of the most beautiful, talented, loving and just simply amazing people to ever walk this earth. She wrote this beautiful note and I wanted to remember it forever.

Emily K, God sent people like you to this world to prove that love is real.

I hope everyone has a magical night tonight!
whether it be spent with your family... your friends... whomever you choose!

I want to take a couple minutes to tell each and every one of you how thankful I am for you, and how blessed I am to know you. I wish I could send everyone personal messages expressing my thanks and love, but that's not possible.
I have an intense traditional game of monopoly just waiting to be won! With that, I just have a few things I want to say to you wonderful peoples:

I know the past few years have been tough for all of us, whether we are burned with financial issues, schooling, work, deaths, location changes, growth, change, change change, ect. But I hope you find peace and comfort in today and tomorrow. I'm not usually one to only practice things on certain days, but there is something about Christmas Eve and Christmas that is so magical, so different. It's awesome to see so many people reaching out to those less fortunate. I think selflessness is one of the most attractive qualities in a person. To see so many people loving on eachother and putting differences aside is just incredible. I feel really positive about this season and this upcoming year. It's going to be an exciting one for all of us! Marriages, children, graduations, grad school, REAL JOBS... ahhhh it's crazy how time flies after you graduate high school, isn't it? I have learned so much about myself and the world within the past few years it's insane. The most important thing I have learned is that we should never hold back how we feel. We should never be afraid to tell someone if they hurt our feelings, or if we are worried or concerned for them. That's love. Sometimes it's tough love, but still love altogether. I know sometimes things are taken out of context, but believe me, honesty is the key to healthy and successful relationships. Also, do not ever be afraid to tell someone how much they mean to you. Words can do so much for a person. You never know, you could turn someone's life upside down with a simple "hello" or by saying "you mean so much to me." It's so nice to know that you are loved and appreciated, so make sure you do your best to express that to those around you. Rekindle old friendships over coffee or hot chocolate, spend some quality time with your family. Tis the season! And another thing, if someone compliments you, PLEASE ACCEPT IT! Don't shoot it down or shrug it off. You are so worth praise. You are making an impact in someone's life and they are taking the time to show admiration and appreciation for you. Just deal with the fact that you are awesome in the sight of someone else! I owe so much of myself to so many of you, and you know who you are. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me. Thank you for having patience with me and MOST importantly for loving me. I consider myself the luckiest girl on the planet. You are all incredible.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season!
You are all incredible blessings and I love you all very much.

STAY WARM!
Emily

And now i leave you with a clip from one of the best Christmas movies ever.
