I am so concerned over my stinkin’ hair right now. I know this may sound silly, but my hair is a huge investment for me. I’ve never been comfortable or happy with the way I look, but the one thing I always seem to get complimented on and enjoy the most about myself is my hair. I just love hair in general. I love boys and girls with long hair, interesting hair, shaggy hair, whatever. I think that no matter what style, someone who takes care of their hair is really attractive to me. I don’t know why, maybe it’s because my Kelly is a cosmetologist, haha.

I have had long hair for my entire life, and I think it might be like a security blanket or something. It’s something people always tell me not to change, and when I mention that I might want to try it people are either like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Or YESSSSSSSSSSSSS CUT YOUR HAIR IT’S BEEN LONG FOR WAY TOO LONG! (which, to tell you the truth, isn’t the nicest thing to hear either, haha)
I know that a lot of it has to do with my body image, and the old saying goes, “The bigger the hair, the smaller the hips,” and you know, I kinda live by that rule, hahaha. I still want BIG hair, just shorter. I think it might actually be something good that would make me focus on my body a little bit more. I have a couple of different ideas, and I don’t wanna go too short to begin with in case I don’t like it or whatever…I don’t know.
I just keep changing my mind, but I think I might go this Friday and just go for it. I have a couple of ideas. Let me know if you have any opinions or any other good ideas!
I'm just feeling really daring lately, and this is something I've wanted to do for awhile. I always change my mind, because I do love long hair on guys and girls, and I am kind of a hippy...haha. Mostly I just love big hair. I'm feeling bold and daring and I want to express that! Why do I have to be so crazy?!?!
I guess the goal is to eventually get to this (I just don't know if I can cut it this short to begin with!):

Oh! I like it. I've always wanted to go short (long hair takes a long time to blow dry sometimes, and can get in the way), but I'm too afraid. I think you should go for it though. It's always fun to mix things up!
